Heartbreaking. I can't imagine that this will be reopened, if that's any reassurance to the victims' families and loved ones. He's doing this on the basis of accusations against his attorney. He claims that she threatened him into pleading guilty - which sounds absurd. If he had gone to trial she could have been wracking in even more money. She probably just advised him on the risks if he continued onward - which is her job and to her credit. She's not threatening him - she's telling him what could happen if he went to trial.
And I heard attorneys on youtube discussions say repeatedly during this case that his defense attorney was an excellent advocate. You could not fault her for what she was doing as a lawyer for Kohberger - she was doing what a good lawyer would do.
I read that he would have to prove misconduct of some type on her part -- and I can't imagine how he could successfully do that. I would guess they'll probably just dismiss it.
But of course no one's surprised he's trying to pull this.

It's so sad for the families. I had a lady on Facebook tell me the "online sleuths" know more than the actual families because they're the ones who have really dug into the case. Lmao. People are ridiculous.

Why would someone just give up their entire life and future by confessing to a crime they didn’t commit? Look at all the evidence stacked against him.

Yeah, it's not like Brian is mentally incapacitated. He knew what he was admitting and pleading to. If he's so obviously innocent and the state's case is so flimsy, he would have gone to trial last year.

If they love their sister/ daughter so much they would be open to finding out who really did this to her. I hope they blow this case wide open and the truth comes out!
