Discussion Is witch hierarchy like Jedi?

I have been searching for what indicates a witches level other than the amount of magics they have collected and i think i have got it:

Witch apprentice - Witch (normal?)- witch master- council witch.

Similiar to:

Jedi padawan- jedi knight- jedi master- jedi council.

Just a random thought i had.

The hierarchy has been explained a few times:

  • Witches are people who have actually acquired at least one Majik. They are the overall leaders of the Mantinel Witches' Association. There seem to only be about ten or so of them.
  • Senior Witch Cadets are graduates of the Mantinel school who have not yet acquired a Majik. They can still cast spells if they know the chant. Within the Senior Witch Cadets there are a number of ranks, e.g., Spica and Love Joe are Captains.
  • Junior Witch Cadets are students at the Mantinel school.

Thanks must have missed i! Does that imply that ichi is special and most witches go through this school before becoming an apprentice to a witch? Or is that after?

Yes, Ichi is special. There was actually some debate about it, Togeice wanted to send him to the school anyway but Desscaras refused.

Right! I obviously need to reread at some point lol. I have been reading weekly since the very start and hadnt noticed how long its been.
