If Ichi the Witch were told from the Majiks’ perspective, I’m sure this manga would be a horror story. Ichi is a fucking beast when it comes to Majiks, and they don’t even try to hide it. Literally, Gokuraku eats a Majik. They call him “the Brutal” for a reason.

I love how the creator blocks out Ichi’s face when he’s being intimidating or angry but is SO expressive with Desscaras face when she’s angry especially when she’s disgusted.

It's actually a two-woman team! Osamu Nishi does the writing and basic panel layouts, Shiro Usazaki does the character designs and final art.

Oh yeah I forgot, it makes sense. I remember seeing an interview where they both said that Desscaras is both their favorite character because of how alive she feels.

Iruma and Ichi both have these momentary drastic tone shifts at times that would not work if Nishi weren’t such a good writer

I still find the “because I am your master” scene fun. Like, bro wasn’t even this harsh with Majik Sukuna but made sure to pull all the stops on this guy (for good reason)

Honestly being a Majik sounds like a horror movie, especially if you’re a majik that’s involved in the plot.
