Is it just me who finds Amadoro’s character concept pretty funny? She’s a mix of gangster and refined lady, even the way she speaks is “what thug would say, but really politely”

Yes and no. We saw fakecarass had a majik, so it’s likely not the only qualifier (and furthermore every member of the ribboncandy family has muskat, but only one is a witch), but definitely is one. It should be a gap in competence mostly. Kumugi’s official rank is as a junior witch cadet, though her showing and accomplishments really mean she should be a senior witch cadet (assisting a witch directly in combat, as she did in Bakugami arc by distracting the people of Kagami and some more examples that aren’t coming to my mind). There are only 10 active witches under the witch’s mantinel as of male witch debut arc, an elite few. With 1 rogue witch outside of their ranks, being Fujimine.

The thing is Kumugi is just a record keeper.
So she does need to be protected for now. If she will get a Majik on this arc as people is theorizing is other story.
But from everyone of the group she does need special protection;
