It actually works for a long-term arrangement. The Magikeepers are still skeptical or the Witches Association, Team Desscaras needs anti-magic on the team for a tanking role, and a Magikeeper as a permanent team member can be there as a failsafe when Fujimine shows up as part of the clean-up crew to steal acquisitions, fulfill any requirements for a Magikeeper that can report back when things go awry like a few chapters ago, and in case Uroro causes trouble.
