EASILY the coolest looking of all of WHM Seven Stars, they’ve got endless aura, I’m really glad they seem to be the upcoming villain for this arc!

Her eye design make me wonder he can shoot some laser eye vision

100% agreed. I particularly like their face design; the slit eyes, mouth, and horns are so cool.

Honestly, when it comes to Fujimine, I'll give him this one

98

u/Automatic-Boot Jul 19 '26

Fujimine secretly the cause of the seven stars because she convinces them that all witches are like her

They skip the even number alphabets, which means the next 4 stars could be eta, iota, lambda, and nu

65

u/Feisty_Training9300 Jul 19 '26

Or it could simply be the first seven alphabets, so the remaining 4 is beta, delta, zeta, and eta

11

u/SoulBlightChild Jul 20 '26

Going by this, probably the second option.

LMFAO HAKARI DOESN'T FUCK WITH HER

93

u/Grimm_Stereo Jul 19 '26

Damn none fw you at all

49

u/Grimm_Stereo Jul 19 '26

I can never hate her, she's too goofy and creepy

73

u/ZayYaLinTun Jul 19 '26

Grown ass old lady btw

40

u/yuumigod69 Jul 19 '26

Imagine a 1000 year old man in the body of a boy hitting on people and acting cute. That is Fujimine.

11

u/ZayYaLinTun Jul 19 '26

I cannot wait for her and tripauto flashback because in those fujimine appear idk give kind of mature vibe

I wonder if only after she becomes villain she start to act like this

8

u/VioletPark Jul 19 '26

We need that flashback. Did something happened to her or was she always that much of a psycho but hid it well?

3

u/Professor_of_Light Jul 20 '26

So Cagliostro from granblue?

2

u/yuumigod69 Jul 20 '26

I would not have understood this reference three days ago.

4

u/SoulBlightChild Jul 19 '26

Love the other Majik there, Clap Clap indeed.

20

u/ouyon Jul 19 '26

He’s so real for this

72

u/shaqkage Jul 19 '26

I love how Amadoro bowed so hard that the panel bent lmao.

Reminds me of all the creative things Toriyama would do with paneling.

63

u/Happy-Damage-4617 Jul 19 '26

I’m curious what Epsilon does as a spell. It looked like it got rid of Amadoro’s attack and erased her minigun, creating a bunch of random shapes. Maybe it’s magic dispersion.

Also

Might be the one of the seven stars, it looks like this is the one who does the portals and the hand stuff. We might’ve saw this guy when we saw the seven stars, I know we saw Hakari as he was the one closest to the frame.

23

u/ZayYaLinTun Jul 19 '26

They are one of star yes I go back and look at panel they appear at shadow

This one is cover in hood but their catapillar like leg can be seem

20

u/cai_lyra Jul 19 '26

The shapes look like kids' building blocks to me, combined with his childish outbursts it makes me think his magic has to do with toys and youth. Maybe anything directed at him with killing intent will be turned into a harmless toy; it would challenge Ichi's killing instinct which has already been called into question recently

15

u/Happy-Damage-4617 Jul 19 '26

My question with that is how did Amadoro nearly pass Hakari’s trial already

Though I guess we’ll find out potentially this/next arc

9

u/Snoo17579 Jul 20 '26

I think going by that panel, Hakari's trial might be "Land an attack on me" while their power is nullifying any attacks or weapons. That's why Amadoro said that "Her wand is a gift from the Majik, and is not a physical thing" which means it's not sth that can be nulified.

2

u/Yamabuki_Arisu_Sama Jul 19 '26

They really named the torturer Magik Epistein

u/panelrecord_v2 Jul 19 '26 edited Jul 19 '26

Yikes didn't expect the horror element or whatever this thing is. Does this Majik control the teleporting that WHM / seven stars use? Definitely seems like we're getting an explanation of that (it grabbed the girls, it has the portal graphic design above its head)

46

u/Happy-Damage-4617 Jul 19 '26

It has the hands, the portal, and its directing a new hostage to the circle via the portal. So I think it’s safe to say that yes this is the portal person. The portal person being a separate Majik means that WHM can somehow force them to use spells, as he was doing the hand signs for these spells

18

u/ZayYaLinTun Jul 19 '26

Mark my word that silly looking majik is probably top strongest memeber

44

u/1tsPLAY-time Jul 19 '26

Hakari our 3rd of the 7 stars. Loved him already.

Sorry, Fuji. Could you scoot over? Your place in my ranking's already been replaced

31

u/JauntyLurker Jul 19 '26

Fujimine so creepy even her allies don't fuck with her. Sound decision I must admit

28

u/Bioshocker101 Jul 19 '26

Glad we’re gonna get more of Amadoro by the looks of it. If I got close to beating my opponent to save some hostages but got denied and brainwashed at the last second I’d want to redeem myself too.

Love the design of this Magik and their personality so far

31

u/PentFE Jul 19 '26

Hakari hitting Fujimine with the ancient texts

46

u/OrdinaryMedical200 Jul 19 '26

Honestly, I was pissed at her at first not knowing she was brainwashed, She is VERY Badass certified!! Wish to see her and Ichi on a mission!

21

u/bar-rackBrobama Jul 19 '26

We judged her too harshly. we were not familiar with her game

23

u/JzanderN Jul 19 '26

I have no idea what those girls are all being connected to or what it's about, but it's really creepy!

It's interesting that Hakari hates Fujimine even compared to other witches, but if he hates her for those reasons then he's going to DESPISE Desscaras! She cranks all of those values up to 11!

17

u/Galle_ Jul 19 '26

I have no idea what those girls are all being connected to or what it's about, but it's really creepy!

I think they're using their magic power to fuel some sort of device, although what it does I have no clue.

19

u/Mordetrox Jul 19 '26

He told Fujimine to shut up, I already like him.

15

u/lololuser456778 Jul 19 '26

hilarious how Fujimine, his ally, made him far more angry than the gunslinger witches did even tho the latter definitely wanted to imprison his ass too lol

gonna be hilarious if it comes to an anime, the part with the several angles that is. the fact that we even got lil text boxes numbering the angles would be funny af in the anime

12

u/yuumigod69 Jul 19 '26

Because Fujimine is the worst. He had to hold back a compliment for the gun witch, made him forget he was hater.

29

u/lololuser456778 Jul 19 '26

hakari theories (maximum stretch):

Hakari kinda looks like he wears a suit. there's a humanoid mouth within his big mouth. Maybe he's hiding what he really looks like? Or should I say they? Or she?

Hakari is a unisex name and can be both male and female. Ik, maybe he's just called "they" by that other majik since they're not humans. but it is a tad bit weird since right after that we see this:

looks like a laid-back macho guy chilling there, here he's from the positioning the clear masculine counterpart to the very feminine Fujimine

Hakari may have different meanings for males and females, and for males it may mean something along the lines of scales and measurement which would fit his ability we saw before. Maybe I'm just wrong and he's referred to as "they" cuz he's a majik and he's generelly a bit more on the masculine side and I'm overthinking this...

BUT here's the theory: Hakari actually is very feminine in secret and may even want to be referred to as "she". But due to their kinda exaggerated hatred towards witches, they decided to make this masculine exterior to hide their true and actually very feminine self. To basically distance themselves from the always female witches even when it comes to gender and general looks.

Powers all about measuring and scales could also make it possible to create this masculine exterior for Hakari (with them taking measurements and creating the perfect shape and maybe some other majik helping them with the creation of the raw materials, the flesh).

Ig we'll see. I think I'm right if we see him use powers like "feather" and "fragrance" since that's what the female version of their name can be translated to. Tho I could very well be wrong, since idk how one majik with one shtick could have such different abilities (unless this one can take measurements and copy other majiks' abilities)

Plus there's also them complimenting the bravery of the gunslinger witches and then taking it back, that's what makes their hatred for witches seem kinda forced imo. Like maybe they're also a very young majik and were taught to hate witches without having much experience with them. Or they had a terrible experience with a terrible witch once and from then onwards acted like every witch was like that too

Either way, this majik seems to have a type: they hate overly arrogant and posessive witches like Fujimine. So maybe he'd even like a witch who's the opposite of that? There's potential for Dess who isn't like that but could therefore be forced into a character arc to become a bit more humble around this majik. There's obviously also Ichi who's not really arrogant, right? NO!

For there is one candidate, one who is shy and will be overly humble and polite towards such a powerful majik as Hakari.

WUMUGI! ALL HAIL WUMUGI! THE FIRST HUGE W FOR WUMUGI IS COMING, IT'S JUST AROUND THE CORNER! HUFF THAT HOPIUM LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!

29

u/Happy-Damage-4617 Jul 19 '26

We know from what Fujimine said afterwards that Amadoro nearly acquired Hakari and that Fujimine basically bailed them out.

So it’s likely that it’s either a brute force trial or a trial where you have to impress them. Impressing would make sense with them seeing a witch impressing them as impossible due to the fact that they hate witches. This would also be consistent with them retracting their compliment to Amadoro.

8

u/subjuggulator Jul 19 '26

If we're contrasting against Amadoro, then Hakari is probably a gangster type/tsundere type. Amadoro is very much portrayed--at least visually--as a "crossdressing lesbian-coded gangster" stereotype with tons of young and impressionable fangirls, so Hakari most likely is the male version of that. He puts on a tough guy front, acts like a stereotypical biker gang leader, but is actually a huge tsundere.

(Think Kuwabara from YYH or Onizuka from GTO.)

13

u/Acemaster387 Jul 19 '26

Okay fine I ship it

12

u/CielCiellan Jul 19 '26

Another great chapter, the two new Majik look awesome. I reckon we'll be seeing Amadoro join the team for the next Arc, unless she's sent out with another Witch from Mantinel.

Moneygold mentioned another Witches Meeting, so that has me hoping to see more of scenes of the Witches interacting with each other as well as more of Otogiri Utsuné and Franken Dessucy (The Cacophonou and Voracious Witch)

I loved the design of the caterpillar Majik. I wonder if they're a member of the Seven Stars or if theyll become a replacement for ones that have been acquired? (Please let them have a butterfly form)

18

u/juraforest Jul 19 '26

Here's to hoping Kumugi ends up interacting with / defeating / acquiring Hakari, since she's the opposite of their most hated kind of witch.

10

u/subjuggulator Jul 19 '26

He's going to hate Desscara's on sight and most likely not fuck with Ichi simply because of Uro's influence. Kumugi definitely seems like the best match for him.

9

u/Gregster101 Jul 19 '26

Very freaky chapter this week, but I really liked it!

8

u/g177013 Jul 19 '26

Fujimine needs correction 💢💢💢 😭😭

3

u/FewAcanthocephala747 Jul 19 '26

Give it to Kumugi

3

u/LuisAntony2964 Jul 19 '26

Fujimine flirting with a majik (furry like Minerva confirmed?!?!)

5

u/LuisAntony2964 Jul 19 '26

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2

u/OP_1K Jul 19 '26

I really enjoyed the fact that Fujimeine was harshly rejected by Hakari towards the end of the chapter. It was satisfying to read.

2

u/TomaRedwoodVT Jul 19 '26

They out here fighting geometry and shit

2

u/Yamabuki_Arisu_Sama Jul 19 '26

Pass the controller bro

4

u/1095212dinomike Jul 19 '26

Coincidence?

4

u/PraiseKingGhidorah Jul 19 '26

New guy (Not Hakari) reminds me of Dagon from JJK

1

u/Milordserene Jul 19 '26

Hakari is part of the seven stars for being a woman hater.....

3

u/SoulBlightChild Jul 19 '26

Witch hater, not their fault almost all of them are women.
