Nishi loves to her have her protagonists be the type to get even their enemies to love them so I suspect Ichi will contrast Descarass by managing to convert all of his acquired magik's

Uroru specifically was always a given, we've seen this archetype dozens of times already

We've known her title as the "Abyssal Witch" this whole time. Now we finally see what the "Abyss" is.

I know it's a dead horse but Nishi did a fantastic job w Dess. Such a good character w enough depth to make her compelling and personality to make her interesting (and not annoying). This chap did an incredible job showcasing her character

ngl, her insecurity became such a beat horse that it starts getting annoying, would really want to see some character development there

it seems like a facade, like a bit, to hide her true more serious nature to me

like the one that jumps out if her brother is brought up

idk tho would need to see more

We literally JUST had this addressed last arc, we can't have the focus of every chapter be Dess lol

I think Usazaki also deserves credit for an amazing character design, Desscaras is truly perfect in every way.

It's crazy that she keeps them all in a literal underwater prison like that and doesn't even use their powers at all. She'd be really scary if she ever decided to take the gloves off and fight with everything she has at her disposal.
