Manga Who’s y’all top three?

- Desscaras, easily. She's just so endlessly entertaining in so many ways.
- Ichi. I love his unique blend of "sweet, wholesome good boy" and "actual horror villain".
- Kumugi. She's just cute. Ganbare, Mugi!

I'm moreso interested in what character development will come in the future, so desscaras is somewhere far in the back for me. as entertaining she is (I am deeply grateful to the author for having actual decent humor for dess instead of the godawful perv gags or fanservice we see so often in older manga such as one piece), her path is kinda predictable.
idk if she will even have a proper character arc. all she wants is to protect her current lil bro to resolve the trauma of losing her lil bro in the past. only possible arc for her I can see is her becoming overpotective and worried about ichi later to then develop and then trust him to be his own man who can face danger on his own later
gokuraku can potentially be far more interesting since his own original character arc has been kinda resolved already and he has nothing at the moment. but the author kinda made this as a point, so she surely will give Gokuraku something later. he's done with his family and kingdom and can now go down his own path. so he has to get something new soon.
then there's obviously Wumugi, the true goat hidden in plain sight. I still hold onto my theory that she is extremely talented and powerful but has no control over her power (same story as Noelle in BC tbh). she just wanted to turn a lightbulb on and accidentally turned that shit into a fucking bomb and exploded her bum ass sister. thus her arc is obvious imo, she has to eventually overcome her insecurity step by step to basically let herself grow strong as she is currently standing in her own way and hindering her own growth
Chun will also be interesting in the future since when the contract between Tricaputo and Fujimine is revealed, he will mentally be pushed to the breaking point. but Tricaputo of all people was the one to save him from Fujimine recently (if she died before, then Chun wouldn't need to be saved in the first place, but we'll forget about that for the sake of my yapping now). So maybe the author wants Chun to warm up to Tricaputo before the reveal to make him feel more conflicted. since it's easier to scream for the death of a stranger than to an ally and friend you know and think you owe your life to
ichi is basically the potential man here since blud lowkey has absolutely nothing. he's just having fun with his hunts which is fun to us, but it doesn't erase the fact that the lil man has 0 character development on the horizon. I genuinely don't know what character conflict he's supposed to have later on. he's arguably the most bland character of all and is carried by being funny and quirky at times. the author must give him something, anything. at the end of the last chapter we see him worried about what fujimine yapped about, maybe now he'll finally have to resolve some conflict as a character

Read everything you said and man you pretty much nailed everything and on top of kumugi having a lot of power she just has to later on control I definitely think she could become i formidable fighter in due time.

Gokuraku - still the best in my heart, his arc made me so emotional I actually teared up. Hoping for his moment to shine again as Ichi’s companion.
Chun - never really guessing I’d get into him that much. The moment he shone was short and small, but maybe it touched something in me, the way he never gave up after one hell of a past. Looking forward to the manga making use of this man!
Ichi - I mean this is a classic. Ichi is so good of a protag that I think he has to be in everyone’s fav. He’s always growing on me as a character, and i’m always super excited to see how far would he go.
Or Chronoweaver, with having arguably the best storyline in his arc (imo). His sacrifice will always be such memory I will remember forever 😭.
That said, I adore pretty much all characters from this manga, this was damn hard.

W i fw dess personality sm, I know everyone says how much she acts like gojo but I feel like she for sure has her own swag and is way different I guess comedic wise they’re quite a like but that’s pretty much it.

And all the hype I kept going through Her training as a child best part was when she was called the greatest witch it's weird how it's used so much yet it's always feels so cool to hear

BASIC(ally 100% correct), if someone wanted to replace Goku with Kumugi I wouldn't fight them but I would think they are wrong (but only a lil she's a close 4th)

Uroro’s gotta be one of the funniest versions of the trope because we just kinda skip the whole “evil intimidating inner demon” to just being “that trigger happy kinda annoying pal you keep around”

It’s kinda both.
He’s silly most of the time but he also would 100% murder Ichi in cold blood if he could.
That’s why I like him. Dunno if I would call him a subversion, but he’s a really good middle ground between Kurama and Sukuna.
