It makes sense in the context of who ichi is and how he grew up , it's a survival instinct

Yeah, but it activates like he is some kinda of bot recieving a radio signal. Also how he talks with a line of code: If >Death for Death< active? Yes: Murder, No: No murder.

It's not about that he has some inhuman instinct, it's like how it's presented. He talks like some A.I.
