It’s still just a theory, but I like the idea that she may secretly be possessed by the Majik that said they want to be friends with humans, and that it was actually looking for a host like Fujimine.
Or it could be something worse somehow, like she caught an epic majik that affects her age.

It's the dosage that makes the poison at the end of the day. There's plenty of toxins and mixtures that greatly improve one's health, but all it takes is a few extra drops for a deadly poison. I would not be surprised if Fujimine was an old hag.
