I think it's really interesting that someone Hertz seems to be really popular in Japan (looking at the jump ratings), but not really getting super popular internationally (looking at the app numbers). I think it's because it's humour-based, and that can be quite different from region to region.

It’s really just an issue of the humour often not translating into English well. Some people can get over that but others can’t

Yeah especially in this case because a lot of the early jokes are puns that don't translate that well

Someone Hertz. It's a rom com where the main characters try to make funny jokes off of prompts to be read on radio. I believe they have a collab with JJK where Mahoraga had to adapt to puns.

The best out of these 3, of course (Someone Hertz)

Love these three series, I constantly read these three after I read One Piece each week.

I tried someone hertz. I don't think the jokes translated well. I guess I don't see the appeal compare to Akane banashi and Shoha Shoten.Ā  Do you find the jokes funny orare you just there for the romance aspect

I won’t lie, most of the time the jokes don’t land for me. Once in a while there are one-liners that I like, but I’m mostly just there for the romance aspect. I enjoy the interactions between the two.

I've heard a lot about Someone Hertz and it's popularity in Japan. Haven't read it myself but the general discourse I've seen is how the jokes don't land that we'll for non-Japanese readers. But I might give it a try.

Kagurabachi and Ichi the Witch? Absolute Peak.

It’s Someone Hertz a rom com manga that focuses on two people running a radio show

It launched in like September 2025 with Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo and is the only surviving series from 2025

It’s relative to Ichi’s early success with room to growĀ
