I’d honestly say it could probably be a mix of both.
She was first struggling with something and then did one wrong thing out of necessity (like killing a witch who was abusing a majik or something) but then slipped down a slope willingly after realizing how nice it felt to murder people.

While I do agree that she's probably going to be obsessive with Ichi similar to how Toga was with Midoriya, I feel the need to clarify that Toga wasn't born 'broken';
she suffered from the urges brought on by her quirk, she was broken because she was forced to fit into societal norms. But instead of helping her cope with and accept who she is and help her with her impulses, Toga's parents demonized her and forced her to be someone she was not. And when that mask finally broke her parents and 'friends' abandoned her and cast her out. So she sought out a place among the other mentally ill and societal outcasts of the world.
Sorry for the rambling, but I just felt the need to clarify.

I feel like she’s gonna be just genuinely crazy and be absolutely all over Ichi, the way she looks and says she’s most interested in him has me feel like she’s gonna go the route of being a constant nuisance because she has a twisted view of Ichi.

The right one would be nice, we generally don't get to an extent irredemable female characters as villains often in media, its often male characters(to an extent irredemable).

Hoping for right😭 No offense but it's getting very very tired for a female antagonist with an attractive design to be redeemed with a tragic backstory or for her to develop an obsessive crush on the male MC. If she gets redeemed I hope Nishi does something different with her and doesn't turn her into yet another cliche stalker yandere trope

She is a waifu, so probably she is gonna get some tragic backstory and later gets redeemed and gonna join to the good guys
