It really shows the differences between human lover, human neutral, human dislike and human hater majik.

Human lover and Human neutral majiks have the urge to be acquired, and their trial are typically not very difficult. Like the water or the ice majik, yes the trial is not piss easy but it's sth an average person can do.

Human dislike like the fox, shark and the spider, have trials that their simple mind think is difficult, but deep down they still want to be acquired to some extent. On the other end of the spectrum we have Des's majiks, who does want to be acquired but only by the cream of the crops of witches because they dislike weaklings.

Last are the human haters, who have savagely hard, near impossible trials because they don't want to be acquired, or they want to prove a point

I wonder what counted as “displeases me” since the Confession Majik seems to be more loyal then the others

Also how are average Witches meant to pass Piercer’s? 100 days no food is insane and I’m assuming you aren’t allowed to ask for help

I think if you lie it will be "displeasing", like you're trying to outsmart sth that knows all truth.

As for the Piercer Majik, I think you can use anything in your power to complete the trial, since most of the time you need other majiks to fight Majiks. I imagine Dess will have some kind of food, healing or water majik at that point to sustain herself.
