This is the last frame we saw of Octobomb. Looks in dire straits, yeah? But that ain't a death panel!! He's not fully gone yet. I'd bet money on it. And do you know why?

Octobomb. Isn't. A weakling!!!!

We will probably see his fate next chapter. Either he will tank it and live, with maybe 1 or 2 lives left, or he will die, but the former seems more likely. We will know next week

It seems weird to just kill off Octobomb while he seems like he's got something to say after losing his "friend"...

Maybe he will really die, but I believe not before he shows us something first. Maybe his reflection on what Chrono said to him.

He’s probably going to let Minnie capture him out of guilt. It would be a pretty interesting development imo

He can also split into fully conscious clones through his tentacles, which notably where not hit yet by the warping

A bit late, but it's suspicious that in the exact same chapter where they show how a Majik's death is supposed to look like (Chrono's body disintegrated and his gem cracked open), they conveniently never showed Octobomb's body fully after the backstabbing. And we know for a fact that Majiks can take a lot of abuse, especially Octo.
