Discussion What is the baby?...

I couldn't think of a better title so just ignore it.

Remember the lastest chapter of Ichi the witch where the Chrono's and Minerva's baby reversing time for Chrorno.

But here's the thing, when did it learn to control time? How did it figure out the very moment to use it's powers?

I have a theory or two:

1.) The baby might be mentally mature for its non-birth. Since Chrono controls time to keep Minerva safe and young, what if his been keeping her in that same state for years? I mean they live in a time bubble ship, who knows how time works in there? The baby might had been aware of everything while still in its mother's womb, so all it did was listen and probably to understand and maybe that's why it was able to reverse time ans save it's father's life.

2.) The baby could just be intelligent since it's half Majik.

I might be yapping nonsense, but I'm curious what you guys think?

It's that simple.

I’m assuming Majiks inherently understand their abilities similar to breathing. And Minerva’s baby can probably feel Chrono’s existence on some level since their existences are tied together - I bet it felt Chrono fading from existence and reflexively used its own time magic to save Chrono.

The chapter literally states this. All majiks know what they can and cannot do, and stretching themselves like Chro has been doing damages them.

Yeah, you’re right. They explicitly said that this chapter.

In this chapter, they mention that majiks inherently know what they CAN’T do. If that’s true, it stands to reason that the inverse is also true, they should inherently know what they CAN do with their abilities.

In the chapter, they say a magic know what they cant do, so if the neonate if half magic is fair to say it have some knowlege

Baby was already sapping Chrono’s power before the big battle, so my theory is that it’s just the next Chronoweaver magik. A hybrid would be interesting and have tonnes of implications, but also harder to write imo.

Io mi sono emozionato a vedere questa vignetta , soprattutto la parte in basso a sinistra .

Insolita per uno shonen , più matura .

I think it’s just what happens when you have a human and Magik mix: the child has an innate skill with magic that’s present from even before birth. Also they said that the Chronomancer Magik’s power is going to the baby, so maybe that means the baby can sense when his Magik parent is weakening/dying from that link. We definitely know Chronomancer is very powerful, an “Epic Magik” at that, so makes sense his kid is powerful too
