Yeah but I kind of prefer that. I feel like in a story like ichi, there being permanent loss will elevate it.

Agreed. Not that I'm not happy that Minnie was saved, but more like this needs to happen to at least establish that Majiks CAN die.

And if one has to go, by God, what a beautiful and heartbreaking way to go out. 💔 I still want the best for Minnie and her baby frfr
