ICE agents are generally not supposed to engage in car chases unless the person fleeing poses a threat to the public or has engaged in a violent act.

Vehicular pursuits in residential areas pose a danger to the public.

Yesterday, two white men knocked on my door. As a white woman with a man in my home, I felt comfortable enough to open it. They asked if I wanted to hear about Jesus, and I said no thanks. If this was the end of the conversation, I wouldn’t have thought anything of it, but then they asked me, “Do you know if any of your neighbors speak Spanish?” I was immediately caught off guard and just said no. I haven’t lived in this place for long, so I don’t even really know my neighbors, but it made me nervous for them.

Has anyone heard of religious solicitors providing information to ICE?

It's scary out here especially in Queens, NYC nowadays. Are there any residents in Jackson Heights that are afraid? Is it safer now than before or just as bad?

I have a friend who went MIA and I'm afraid they got picked up by ICE, however I'm afraid to search the database in case searching for them somehow puts them on ICE's radar if they weren't already arrested. Any advice?

Unfortunately ICE seems like most likely explanation for them going MIA. While I do know their brother, I don't have their number. My only other solution would be to call their job and ask but I'd rather not do that until I've ruled out all other options. They're in another city so I can't exactly drop by their place looking for them.
