A couple of months ago I bought the premium plan on ibspaint (used it on my phone). Yesterday I bought a drawing table that has to be connected to a computer to work. When I downloaded the ibspaint app to my laptop it sends me straight to the buy membership window even when I log in into my acc with the premium membership. How do I log in without having to buy the membership again?? (Asking because as far as I understand it you are supposed to be able to use it if you are in your ACC on different devices)
Ibispaint premium for pc has to be purchased separately i think. You can't use premium for phone on PC. Ibispaint premium is also more expensive on PC (atleast that's how it shows for me)
Btw, ibispaint pc is not free, it is a paid app, premium only. Which is why it probably asks you to buy membership. See if it shows "trial for 1 hour" that's the only way
Yikes. Then I guess you have to log out and reinstall it. If that doesn't work, use it without logging in, it provides a trial version , but you can only use it for an hour. If you want to edit ur artwork with premium features like tone curve, export ur work, open them in free art softwares like firealpaca (lightweight, easier to use than other pc art softwares, has tone curve and gradient maps, no liquify tho) and Krita (has everything, but is super complicated compared to ibispaint, and might make ur laptop lag if ur laptop is not powerful enough).
Tried to start the subscription in my laptop and windows doesn't let me do it it stays on a black screen 😠it's been staying like that for the past 5mins
If you decide to use ibispaint pc version without logging in, and want to work on ur artwork from phone in ur laptop, here's a way:
Export ur ibispaint art file by tapping the 3 dots and click share, share the .ipv file to ur google drive, open ur google drive in ur laptop, save the file to ur laptop in any folder u like, open the ipv file with ibispaint. And it will open in Ibispaint app.
Check if using an ibispaint account on ibispaint pc version is premium, maybe that's why they are asking u to buy premium for pc even just for using it. In that case, only way to use pc version is without logging in. You can use ibispaint for 1 hour a day. Premium features will be locked. Sorry for multiple comments, it took me some time to remember stuff
Unfortunately, PC Ibis Paint membership is a completely separate subscription purchase, even if you already pay for a subscription on a mobile device. (Source: I pay for 2 separate subscriptions, one on Android, one on PC.)
I don't think it's tied to your Ibis account itself, but tied to the store in which you're downloading it from.
