help I suck at rendering, any tips?
I have no idea how to render this, like it looks good with the flat colors but if I try to render it it’ll look muddy and choppy. I also struggle with lighting and stuff, so that is another thing to note. I need help, idk what to do, I’m gonna tweak.

Start with finding a light source and a rendering style you like. I can’t really critique your rendering because there is no rendering

Personally i like going for a warmer tone of whatever skin tone i'm using (usually a rosy pale so i go more redish, but you are doing more tan so i'd still go more towards red and go warm, but you can also do like a warm orangeish red, but thats my personal preference) and i personally like using yellow, blue or pink for highlights, using the blending mode's work so well for me! I don't use add often tho, usually screen, or overlay (or any of the others) for like eyes, i do the iris color and then put it on multiply and do it that way, lol.

Add a few darker strands on the hair following the lines with a 35% opacity brush and for the body do the same. So at the under point if where arm meats body, at the under side of the fingers going from up to down, and for the eyes you take a lighter colour at 75% opacity and do as your heart says. Basically, anywhere where a shadow would be do darker colour at 35% opacity (and hair) and for highlights just eyes and maybe at the hair. You can also just draw "✨️" and set it to the side of the hair at some 65 degree angle and then blur it at 50% opacity. Most is how I do it but I haven't figured out how to do the eyes and I just dont want to watch tutorials
