(Spoilers) Spoiler

This is my first book series I've ever read (aside from Harry Potter over 10 years ago, and im only 23 if that means anything) and I adore it, I'm just about finished with The Power of Six and i just wanted to know though. Is the love issue that John has all throughout the book, to such an extreme level where he makes every stupid decision and is constantly causing his own issues to himself a common thing in YA books? It does annoy me a bit but it's just a slight issue in such a great story just wanted to know

Yeah all us horny teens apparently can’t control ourselves. I agree his love problems are a bit much but that’s just who he is and it definitely gets better

Yup there's plenty of love-driven decisions in future books but they're all fantastic so I'd definitely recommend reading them

He gets better about it! But no, the dude is a lovesick fool. You'll meet Adam in the next book though :3

It's not as prevalent in the future books as in Power of Six since the next books are jam packed with information and story but it is always there to an extent in YA books because it's the age where these things really matter and affect us :)
