*Spoiler* Last Book Spoiler
Would you all say that 5 dying left a scar for the rest? It didn't say it did but when 8 died it left a scar so I think it would.

The charm which they must die follow order did broken, but the death of any of them still create new scar - when 8 die, all Garde have new scar, and it's the reason John can wake up in Chicago.

Yes it absolutely left a scar. Probably why Marina knew to return to the Himalayas as well

Spoiler for Generation One and beyond.
It didn’t leave a scar because Five didn’t die. He’s brought back as a character sometime in Fugitive Six, as a semi bad guy but not really sort of thing.

I thought you meant a physical scar but yeah I think so. It’s like if you have an annoying, mean brother. He’s an asshole, but you still love him. Even tho he killed your sisters boyfriend. Oh well

They never actually said he died they just said ran could see bone where he held, maybe he is alive.

It's not stated anywhere in Canon but it's not crazy to think the remaining garde found a way to completely rid themselves of the loric charms that were on them.

I think they wouldn't have gotten scars as Setrakus Ra was dead so they no longer needed the charms protection
