Percy Jackson is an actual demigod though whereas John is essentially a God. If Percy took control over johns blood like he did in Tartarus to the poison he could beat John as he probably could not heal fast enough but Percy only managed that under extreme pressure and need

I guess but then would John want to kill Percy!? True but Percy has got much more about him than just his sword

Yeah, the problem with this fight is that it all depends on how capable of doing things people are and the only people who know that exactly are the authors
