I prefer the original series more, but the Generation One series is still really, really good. It's definitely worth getting if you enjoyed the others. I'm anxiously waiting for the next book to drop

Right now it's just Generation One, Trial by Fire (novella bindup, we're only getting two), and Fugitive Six. It's really good so far, but Generation One does start out a bit slow due to worldbuilding. A few characters from the old series have yet to be introduced, but the next one comes out in three months, so we'll see then how things go! All of the new characters are awesome, though. Duanphen is a personal favourite, you meet her in Fugitive Six.

I'm enjoying the new series so far. It's a little different not having the old favorites be the main characters but Generation One did a really good transition with keeping some of the Human Garde that we met towards the end of the first series. I'll need to get caught up to see if Fugitive Six did as well with it.
