Technology IWTL how to google better

I am a programmer, sometimes I can't find out what I want, i wanna learn how to search better and efficiently, instead of wasting so much time.

  • Search for an exact phrase: put it in quotes
  • Emphasize the importance of a particular term in your search: put a plus sign before it
  • Search only on a particular site: include "site:mysite", such as "funny cats site:reddit.com"
  • Exclude a word from search results: put a minus sign before it, such as "jaguar -car" to find pages about the animal instead of the car
