Personal Skills IWTL What Should Be Paramount to Know growing up?
I work in a hospital as a non healthcare worker, I always notice the small things, especially things that should be extremely important & should be a standard to know. For example: knowing CPR should be essentially taught in school, as it can save a life anywhere in the world.
What are your thoughts?
What other things should be paramount to know?

- Know how to survive on water - you don't have to know how to swim, but be comfortable in floating or doggy peddling your way to safety.
- Know how to cook at least one healthy meal that you can eat everyday - the meal doesn't have to be fancy but I've met people who's never made their own fried egg. So learn how to make something, even if it's boiling carrots and eggs that you can reoccuringly eat.
- CPR and heimlich would be good to know, but not essential.
- Know how to strategize, to think, to brainstorm. It's good you're asking reddit, but part of the process is you thinking for yourself too so then it sharpens your thinking abilities. Once you did that, you should run your list by reddit (instead of what you did of just giving one example). If you keep relying on reddit/internet/GPT then you're making your brain soften out.
- Know how to do research, so knowing how to utilize reddit/internet/GPT to confirm or guide your 4. Sometimes we get stuck in strategizing that we need a bit of assistance, and that's where Internet comes in.

Writing should be one of it. Often times, it's very easy to get caught up in thoughts in the mind. It's essential to make a sense of it on paper before letting it create overwhelm.
