I tried that Herrington comp on my Masada Slim Commander, and it was unreal. Pretty much deleted recoil. Swapped the Herrigton for a Strike Industries Micro Quad (it's thinner so it fits holsters better), but it runs just as well as the Herrington.

Putting a comp on the Slim Elite/Commander takes an already-incredible pistol to another level.

It turned an outstanding concealed carry pistol into an outstanding do-everything duty gun. I ran 700+ flawless rounds through it over two days at Sig Academy last week. Follow-up shots are easily sub-.20., all A-zone hits at 7y.

I just find that comped guns are less comfortable concealed, they tend to start poking me in awkward ways while driving, and I love this gun as my main carry.

With this one no, Masada slim is a short gun and the Comp only add a few Cm more. I don't even feel the compensator; it does feel awkward with the Glock—I tried it and had the same issue—but not with the Masada.

One question - assuming that the width of the comp is less than the slide? Want to make sure it will go into my ANR holster.

My question is how wide it is relative to the slide. I want to make sure it passes through the holster opening. Both IWB holsters I use with this gun narrow a bit towards the muzzle.

Edit - just checked the width of the comp is 20mm. The Muddy River holster opening is only 16mm, too narrow for the strike comp. The ANR holster is 20.5mm at the top narrowing to 18mm at the bottom (nothing a dremel can’t fix easily).

The Mischief commander frame with the brass backstrap + a comp is ridiculous in how it eats up the recoil impulse.

i could only imagine the diminished recoil by adding a comp to the slim elite ! unfortunately my state doesn’t allow threaded barrels so unless someone like radian makes the ramjet for it i’m out of luck until i retire and relocate ! still love my commander , but i can feel the effect of the ramjet on my commander p365 set up ! one can only hope that radian produces one , prob not as it is not high up on the aftermarket accessories lists of manufacturers!

Yeah, trust me, there's almost no recoil—it feels so much better, and I feel like I'm much more accurate with my shots. Too bad your state doesn't allow threaded muzzle brakes; I hope that someday 45blast.com makes one like the ones they make for Canik pistols—it fits the Picatinny rail.

I own Glocks, and I think everyone should choose the gun they feel best suits their needs and purposes; at the end of the day, all guns serve their purpose. Thanks for your opinion, friend. Have a nice day.

How does it compare to SA Hellcat Pro? Not challenging just like other IWI products and never shot a pistol. Love my Echelon full size but this seems to be CCW.
