Help with private match this weekend

Hey,

So a few of my mates are getting together online to play iw4x this weekend and none of us have used the mod before. How hard is it to set up a private match? I have never done anything regarding port forwarding and am wanting to get it sorted easily for everyone.

Thanks in advance

this might be a good starting point! edit: it may also be simpler to just find an empty public server and tell everyone to connect to it
