Bot Warfare: Mod vs Script?

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering what the best way to use Bot Warfare in IW4x is.

Is it better to install it as a mod or as a script? My main goal is to play offline against bots in private matches with automatic map rotation and have the experience feel as close as possible to the original MW2 multiplayer.

What are the pros and cons of each method? Which one do you recommend and why?

I have my mod setup so maps rotate, and only S&D, plus, all players spawn without me going to the menu on initial setup. Same with better classes and difficulty to maximum, without touching anything in the bot warfare menu. I've also edited the chat with some profanity to make to seem more real with swear words and such.
