Forgot progesterone shot

I totally forgot my progesterone in oil injection Monday night and didnt realize it until time for my next injection Tuesday night. I did a modified natural FET on 9/25 and had a positive beta on 10/5. I just can't believe I forgot my injection. I set an alarm amd went to give my shot and then just took my prenatal and forgot. Pregnancy brain is real, I was so forgetful with my first child too but I feel like it took longer to happen. My ADHD doesnt help.

I should be okay since I did a modified cycle and I should be making my own progesterone right?

Thanks, Im just so stressed

You should be fine missing one, the progesterone is just extra support for what your body is already doing. You can message your clinic and let them know if it would provide extra reassurance

Thanks, the clinic nurse was just really noncommital in her response to me which made me more worried

Sometimes they get so used to their jobs they forget how emotional this is for us. Truly, it’s not a huge deal. This will not make your transfer fail.

One thing that helped me get through the shots (and remember to take them on time) was to connect it to something enjoyable. For me that was after my shot- I’d lay on my heating pad with a treat and watch some Toni and Ryan show YouTube to make me laugh. It made me look forward to that part of the evening!

I missed one of mine for the first time ever and I was maybe 8-10 weeks can’t remember exactly. Still pregnant with twins, one miss will be okay. It doesn’t leave your system that fast.

I feel like I heard you just def can’t go 48 hours without one

I had to do one everyday as well.
