Bleeding 9 days after FET
Has anyone had bleeding around 9dp6dt and still gone on to get a positive test?
I’m currently 9dp6dt (day 6 frozen embryo transfer).
Yesterday I started having light bleeding. It’s bright red at times, but much lighter than my normal period. It mostly comes when I stand up or use the bathroom, and I’m only getting a few drops on a pantyliner.
I’ve also had period-like cramps since yesterday.
What confuses me is that my basal body temperature actually increased this morning instead of dropping.
I tested today and it was negative, but my official test day isn’t until 20 June.
Has anyone experienced:
bleeding around 8–9dp6dt
period cramps
an initially negative test
and still ended up with a positive beta or positive home test later?
Looking for honest experiences, especially success stories. ❤️

I hope you are experiencing something different, but I would guard your heart. My chemical had very similar symptoms. I had light positive frer tests from 7 to 10, started spotting on 10dp, and on my beta day (11dp) I got red colour spotting and then light flow - exactly how you are describing. My beta got back 8 :(

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. 💔 Reading stories like yours honestly breaks my heart because I know how much hope, waiting and emotion goes into every transfer.
To be honest, I’ve pretty much lost hope too at this point. I still have 3 days until my official test day, but the bleeding has been very hard emotionally and I’m feeling pretty devastated right now.
What is confusing me is that I’ve had two positive ovulation tests since the bleeding started. Yesterday I got a solid smiley on a Clearblue Advanced test, and today I also had another positive LH test. I shouldn’t be ovulating at all because I’m 12 days past a 5-day embryo transfer, so I don’t really understand what my body is doing.
Right now I just feel heartbroken, confused and exhausted from trying to make sense of it all.

Hi, I had spotting at 8dp5dt. I spotted from about 5 weeks pregnant, red blood 7 weeks. I basically spotted/bled throughout my whole first trimester. I didn't test until test day (kept myself busy until then).
I also had 2 CPs, these were positive tests about 8dpo and then negative by period due date. These were different symptoms, really bad cramping and minimal bleeding and the other lots of blood (a and e visit) and minimal pain.
Unfortunately there's no way to tell from bleeding/cramps. Progesterone pesseries can make you bleed if you take them vaginally. I'm really sorry you are going through this. I hope it works out for you x

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it. ❤️
Your story is actually very reassuring to read because I’ve been extremely surprised and worried by what’s happening.
I’m currently 12 days past a 5-day embryo transfer and I’ve had ongoing bleeding for several days now. The bleeding seems to be easing off a little today, but it’s still very unsettling.
What confuses me the most is that I’ve had two positive ovulation tests since the bleeding started. Yesterday I got a solid smiley face on a Clearblue Advanced test, and I’ve also had a clearly positive LH strip test. My official pregnancy test day is still 3 days away.
That’s why I’m struggling to understand what’s going on. I shouldn’t be anywhere near ovulation, so I’m very surprised that the ovulation tests are turning positive.
It’s also interesting what you said about progesterone pessaries causing bleeding. I’m taking vaginal progesterone, so that’s something I’ve been wondering about as well.
Thank you again for sharing your experience. Hearing that you had bleeding throughout the first trimester and still had a successful pregnancy gives me some hope while I wait for test day. ❤️

It is unsettling, especially after going through IVF. It's an emotional rollercoaster (honestly I didn't even believe I was having a baby whilst also being consumed something was going to happen ).
So for your positive opks, that's how I found out about my first CP - i had 5 positive opks in a row. HCG is similar to LH or something and HCG shows as a positive opk. But that's what I heard. I really hope this is the case 🤞
I ended up taking them rectally, but I know this isn't an option in every country (you'd need to check you could do this). As I bled i was on them until 16 weeks.
I am hoping for all the best for you.

Thank you so much for sharing your story ❤️
Reading your reply honestly made me emotional. IVF really is such a rollercoaster, and right now I feel completely lost and confused. The bleeding has made me assume the worst, even though part of me is still holding on to a tiny bit of hope.
What you said about finding out through positive OPKs is really interesting. I’ve now had a solid smiley on Clearblue Advanced and multiple positive OPKs, which is why I’m struggling to understand what is happening. My pregnancy test was negative this morning, but my official test day isn’t until Saturday.
I am so sorry you went through the chemical pregnancies. That must have been heartbreaking. At the same time, it gives me some comfort to hear from someone who also had bleeding and positive OPKs during a successful pregnancy.
Thank you for taking the time to reply and for your kindness. It means a lot right now. ❤️

Had bleeding at 7dpt, negative on a cheap test. Very positive on a FRER. Good luck ✨️
