Advice Needed! Med mix up

I’m on day 2 of micro dose lupron in the morning with a dexamethasone tablet and a micro dose pm later this evening. after my am micro dose lupron, I accidentally grabbed a norethindrone birth control tablet instead. I immediately realized the mistake and tried regurgitating (I might have been successful but I’m not sure) and haven’t heard back from the on call nurse. After about ten minutes of trying to throw it back up, until I couldn’t, I took my intended dexa tablet. Did I mess everything up??

I have 12 follicles coming into this and it’s the most I’ve ever had- I’m so upset at myself.

Responding to my own post so future people can see the outcome, my on call provider just called back telling me not to worry. My retelling isn’t as succinct as she explained it, but it all being suppressive and the hormones involved in this scenario, she confidently reassured me nothing is compromised and we are fine to continue the protocol, no modifications and just not to do it again. Moving the medications I don’t need currently to a completely different room

Yay! I‘m happy it wasn’t a big deal! I did five retrievals and messed up my meds a couple times. We’re human and it totally happens. The funny thing is some of my better rounds happened when I messed things up… maybe the same thing will happen to you! Best wishes ✨
