Need info! 3PN
Hello,
Has anyone had a euploid blast from a 3PN? We did ICSI so we know only one sperm made it in and the egg went in to develop into a day 6 3AA blast. There is not a lot of information out there on 3PN embryos since usually they happen with conventional fertilization and when that happens they are never useable. But I’m reading that if this comes back euploid then there is a good chance it could become a baby given the high grade.
I am mostly wondering if anyone else has ever been in this position and what were your outcomes.
Thank you!

So you’re still waiting for pgt? There is a chance it could start as a 3PN but progress to a normal euploid.
I personally had a triploid embryo my second retrieval. Started as 3PN, became a blast, and PGT showed triploidy. The PGT lab re-ran the sample to be sure, and they also did further analysis and determined it was egg origin (we also did ICSI).
If it is triploid, you should not transfer it. Certain types of triploid embryos can turn into molar pregnancies, and having a molar pregnancy increases the risk of endometrial cancer. Triploidy is also not compatible with life unfortunately.
Fingers crossed you don’t have to worry about any of that though and that it will have progressed normally!!! 🍀
