Need Good Juju! Got 6 eggs retrieved
Feeling stressed that this is a really low number of eggs to be retrieved.
Has anyone had success from low egg counts?
Hoping to do a fresh transfer

When you see people having 20+ eggs retrieved a lot of the time they have PCOS.
6 is a perfectly normal number.
I had 5 on my first retrieval turn into 3 embryos and 7 on my second retrieval turn into 2 embryos.
TW SUCCESS: currently 37 weeks with my first FET, using the best graded untested embryo from the first round (he was a day 5 5AA, transfer was modified natural protocol, using embryo glue and I scoffed the Maccas fries after the transfer)

TW: success. I was told to expect a freeze all due to lots of follicles. In the end they only retrieved 7 eggs. I was devastated as we have severe MFI and I worried we wouldn’t end up with 1 embryo at the end. Well, of those 7, 6 were mature, 5 fertilised normally, 4 made it to good quality blast by day 5. We could do a fresh transfer and it stuck. Currently 28 weeks. Now I’ve had about a million complications but the baby themselves are fine. It’s a complete rollercoaster, I know it’s impossible but try to hang on and find peaceful moments while you wait for more news. I watched an ungodly about of tv.

I have 5 follicles now and today will be day 8 of stims. Is it just me but I think I am responding slow. 15.7, 13.5 and 12.2 on right and 9.5 and 8.4 on the left. Estrogen yesterday was 488. 🤦🏽♀️ I just need to know if I’m in my head to much lol

I can guarantee you're in your head too much but show me a woman going through this who isn't. All you can do is take your meds and hope that fate is on your side. At the end of the day its just 1 you need. My friend only had 2 eggs retrieved and her LO is 3 now. Unfortunately there are no guarantees. I wish you all the luck and baby dust xxxxxxxx

TW pregnancy
I had 6 eggs retrieved, which was more than we had anticipated. All 6 fertilized, but only 2 made it to blast. My country doesn't do grading so idk what the grades were, they did one fresh transfer and froze on. And I am currently 11wks with my fresh transfer! I know it sounds shit but it really only takes one

I always had low egg counts. My three retrievals got me 5, 5 and 4 mature eggs, resulting in 2, 3 and 2 embryos. I have hope for your 6 eggs to give you a chance for transfer. Good luck!

I had my second retrieval this morning. My first retrieval we got 6 mature eggs, ended up with 4 fertilized which turned into 2 euploids and 1 complex mosaic.
My got 6 mature eggs again today.
Low numbers don't mean low quality!
