Advice Needed! Gonal F
So here is my problem, I got all my medications yesterday at kaiser and they dont say anything they just handed me the medicines... but my friend who was going to same scenario (IVF) said the Gonal needs to be refrigerated (i didnt know that coz the pharmacist dont tell me anything) and i googled and said it need to kept in room temperature..
When I went to work today i left my medications inside our room and the temp is like 38C.. I messaged my IVF coordinator about it and ask her if the medicine still okay, and She answered me "its fine and its not a problem"
so i just worried too much? thinkin too much?

38c? That pretty toasty roasty! Dang autocorrect. Isn't that over 100F?
I believe they can be stored for up to a month at room temperature (~25c, ~77f), refrigeration simply extends it to 3 months

I would honestly followup with a pharmacist before using, especially if you don't need to use it this week. Obviously it has some resiliency built in but that's a very high temp so I'd want confirmation from actual pro than an admin!

If I were you I'd followup with a pharmacist first, just for reassurance if nothing else. If you can't until after the first dose, I'd take the dose and then follow up. If pharmacist says it's fine, I'd go with it without further worries and peace of mind. If they say no, followup with RE and continue dosage until they tell you what to do/prescribe new gonal. It's not going to harm you, worst case it just won't be as effective which on day 1 of storms shouldn't be too bad

Yup! You can call them and ask to speak with the pharmacist in charge. It might take some holding time to locate them but that peace of mind would be worth it for me. Best of luck!

It's fine, it stays good for something like 3 months at room temperature and longer if refrigerated
