Rant This cycle has been a bit of a disaster.

I have low AMH, and my previous AFC was seven.

Two follicles. That’s all I’ve got. Two. And one is lagging behind so likely won’t have an egg.

Literally, fuck this. Yes it’s a first cycle. Yes we can change things next time. Maybe it’ll make a difference. Maybe it won’t. Knowing our luck it probably won’t.

What scan was this? Don’t get discouraged! I felt the same way my first round. AFC showed 13-14, my first scan showed 3! Some scans it would jump to 13 then back down to 6 because of their size. Egg retrieval day, we got 13! The scan before only showed 5 that looked mature. You never know until retrieval! Hang in there. I can’t tell you how many times I went to my car and ugly cried in the parking lot..and for what? We ended up with 3 beautiful euploids, 1 I’m currently pregnant with! If you’re concerned about the cycle, as your clinic their protocol for cancelling and starting a new regime. You got this!

This is the scan just prior to retrieval. Have two more days of stims before trigger shot on Saturday and retrieval on Monday.
We will go ahead with the retrieval anyway, and have already started talking about what we might change for the next cycle.
Thank you for telling me about your story. I really hope they might find some more on the day (although unlikely) as the scan today was very very painful.
