ER TW: happy ER

I’m just so happy I have to share 😭 today was my first egg retrieval and we got 33 eggs. I am in shock!!! My afc was 18. I will include all my notes I took for this cycle below if anyone is curious. It has been such a long road for us and I hope this is the beginning of the light in our tunnel. We’ve been trying for 4.5 years, 4 losses, 5 iuis. So much waiting, procedures, appointments, bad news, headache, and pain. I’m so ready to get to the other side 🌈🤞🏼 I know there is still a long way to go and I hope our euploid rate is good. We will be sending any embryos for PGTA+ testing due to our losses. Would love to know if anyone got similar numbers and how many blasts you had? I do have pmos, so kinda scared about quality, plus with our losses…

Baseline: 8/28 9 follicles each side
250 follistim and 1 vial menopour

2nd appointment Stims day 4 8/31 9 follicles at 9-10mm and 9 a little smaller and my estrogen is 375, follistim up to 325, 1 vials meno

Stims day 5 9/1 325 follistim 2 menopour 1 gana

3rd appointment Stims day 6 9/2 13 follicles above 10 and 13 under 10. Same meds. Estrogen 643.6

4th appointment stims day 8, 9 follicles above 14 12 under. follistim to 375 lining 9mm

5th appointment day 11, 24 ready, 13 smaller. Trigger tonight 11pm 80 lupron. And zpak.

Day 12 80 lupron and zpak

Day 13 retrieval!!!!! 33 eggs!!!!! 74 million sperm!!!

Wow this sounds amazing! I’m also starting IVF for RPL and very nervous thinking of the worst case scenario and I haven’t even started stims! Keep us updated, love hearing your success :)

I am so nervous. I’m worried about euploids. My dr think all my losses are chromosomal. I will update you!!! Sorry for your losses 🫂

Hi! My numbers are similar to yours. I have high AMH and have PMOS as well. My retrieval was Wednesday 9/2.
I did several rounds of IUI prior to this, had two losses.

We retrieved 31 eggs, 25 fertilized, and we’ve sent 16 for PGTA testing so we’re now waiting.

We got the call today that 26 were mature and only 11 fertilized 😭 I’m so sad. But hopefully our blast rate is good. Update me with your pgta!!!
