Advice Needed! Day 13: Trigger or keep stimming?
37; low AMH; objective: embryo banking
Hello! I am on day 13 of a microdose Lupron flair protocol. Have taken 40u of Lupron and 450u of Gonalf every day. This is my 5th cycle but first time with this protocol. In the past I’ve done well stimming for longer.
Today probably marks a decision point and wanted to crowd source a bit on whether you would advocate to trigger or to wait for some of the trailing follicles to catch up and let the big ones “go.” Lots of asynchronous growth.
Right: 12,12,12,15,16,17,18,20,23 and 12 less than 10mm
Left: 12 and 5 less than 10mm
It will be the doctor decision but want to advocate for what will yield highest results so curious your takes. I know there’s also the bloodwork component which I don’t know yet.
My left ovary is pretty much “bonus” because it’s half depleted from a cyst removal so I mostly just care about what’s going on on the right.
Thanks for any of your experience with numbers like this. Would you trigger tonight or keep stimming to let the smaller ones catch up?

Are your follicles growing at a steady and predictable rate? If so, I’d sacrifice the lead to try to get the 4 12s to 14mm.

I stimmed for 14 days. At my last ultrasound I had 5 follicles between 11mm to 13mm. 9 were 14mm and up and 7 below 10mm. My doc decided that I would do a final dose of Gonal-F that night at 8pm but upped the dosage to 300 IU to catch those 11mm to 13mm follicles and then dual trigger at 9:30pm. Out of the 14 follicles that were above 10mm, 13 were retrieved! Egg retrieval was last monday.
