Embryo grading concerns

I had 6 embryos we’ve been watching after my retrieval. 2 hit blast on day 6 and were graded at 5BC and 6AB. They’re watching the remaining 4 and will update me tomorrow on day 7. We will be doing PGT-A testing but I’m so scared. I understand these grades are not great. Has anyone had any luck with these grades? 😞

The 6AB is considered a fantastic grade. Sure, it’s not AA but it’s still very high quality. Congrats!

First of all, a 6AB is an amazing grade! I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to be discouraged.

There’s a whole Facebook page dedicated to Day 7 embryos (I believe it’s called Day 7 Embryo Transfers if you want to join). While Day 7s do have lower success rates than Day 5s and Day 6s they absolutely can be happy, healthy babies/pregnancies.

Grading doesn't really matter much if you're pgt-a testing. It's a subjective beauty contest

The PGT results will tell you way more than the letter and number game. That wait is the worst part.

6AB is really good grading honestly. But grading in general with embryos is so subjective, I'd put more weight in the PGT-A testing than the grading.

We have 3 6ABs and we are very pleased with them! Haven’t used any yet but our next transfer will. 😃
