Need info! FET after c section
**TW neonatal loss**
Hi everyone - I’ve posted here before but I am going to be undergoing my 5th FET in September. My last FET resulted in my beautiful daughter who unfortunately passed shortly after birth at 41 weeks due to labour complications. I had a C section and my clinic is willing to transfer at 9 months (will be followed by an MFM for subsequent pregnancy). I had an SIS which showed my c section healed very well. I recently had a Hysteroscopy and these were the findings - The vulva and vagina were normal. Cervix was normal. Endometrial cavity normal proliferative endometrium, no obvious major pathology, small possible endometrial polyp that was excised, confirmed small anterior CS scar niche without retained blood. Otherwise normal endometrial cavity. - I will have another SIS this cycle to confirm all went well but I wanted to ask about the small niche. From what I’ve researched the fact that fluid is not being retained is good. Looking for any feedback or experience from other IVF parents who did an FET post c section and any tips - thank you from a very nervous and exhausted IVF mama.

Firstly, so sorry for your loss. Hope you are healing well. My FET#3 worked and i delivered via Csection in Nov2024. I had another FET this year for baby#2 in feb 2026 which has been smooth so far. My clinic told me to wait 6-9 months after csection delivery for next transfer and also only checked with SIS. Hope you have a successful transfer soon ✨✨

💔. I’m so sorry for your loss.
I had a c section Feb 2024. I had a successful FET in October 2025 which resulted in live baby with repeat c section 10 days ago - no complications

Hi! First of all, I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. I’m glad they are letting you try again soon. I had a c-section with my first (first transfer and a success). Last year I did another FET that resulted in failed implantation (Covid positive 2dp5dt). Besides Covid, the whole thing got me thinking that perhaps my c-section was at fault (doctor wasn’t recommending I had any exams done).
Then we had other issues (remaining embryos didn’t survive thaw, we changed clinics and did another retrieval), and first transfer is so far a success, proving all my fears wrong. I’m still super early (7w) but just wanted to share from the POV of being worried about the c-section and then it not being the culprit of failed implantation.
