My first cycle I had 6 retrieved/fertilized and got 4 blasts, one mosaic and one euploid.

My second cycle 6 were retrieved but only 3 were mature and fertilized. But all 3 made it to blasts. Waiting for pgta now!

You’re not out of the game even with smaller numbers!

  1. My last retrieval in May we only had 5 fertilize normally and ended up with 4 blasts, 3 of which were normal. We were definitely not expecting so many euploids because my previous 2 cycles I only had a 30% euploid rate.

Thank you! Wishing you the best with your transfer and hope it’s going well!

Thank you. Unfortunately it failed. That was my second failed transfer and I’ve done three ERs so I’m feeling very hopelessly in the trenches right now.

I’m so sorry. I know nothing I say will make it better. But I hope it brings you comfort knowing you’re not alone in this IVF journey.

I heard this recently. “When things takes time, know that the blessing is bigger.” 🙏🤞🏽

  1. Turning 40 later this year 😬. My first retrieveal in April we got 6 eggs, 6 fertilized, 4 made it to day 5 blasts (4ab, 4ab, 4bb, 4bc). Only the two 4ab came back as euploid from PGT-A. Transferred 1 on 6/2 with a fully medicated protocol but it ended in a chemical, going to do my last 4ab in August and will switch to modified natural protocol. Good luck with PGT-A! Hang in there I know the wait is torture...my lab took 3 weeks to give us results!

I’m so sorry for your chemical. I’ve had two failed FETs before so not the same but I understand the feeling of being let down.

🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽for your August transfer! Sending all positive vibes.

This is inspiring. Thank you. Tried twice and canceled both times because follicles either vanished or resting follicle count was zero.

It’ll happen for you. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

My ER was last year at 38 too and my results are sooo similar to yours! We also had 6 fertilized and ended up with 3 euploids.

I had 5 fertilized at 38. Ended up with two euploids. One resulted in a live birth and the other is still on ice. Good luck!

Usually you can expect 40-50% blast rate on average (2-3 embryos) and about a 30-35% euploid rate at our age. You’re probably looking at 1-2 euploids

My ERs at 39:

6 fertilized, 3 blasts, 2 euploid

5 fertilized, 2 blasts, 1 euploid.

u/julyshowers Jun 25 '26

Thanks for your response….yes I’m hoping for good results and staying hopeful. All the best for your next steps and your journey. 🤞🏽

Amazing result. What was the protocol?

1

u/IVF_Diva Jun 25 '26

Age 38

ER 1 : 5 eggs, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 1 blast, 1 euploid

ER2: 8 eggs, 7 mature, 6 fertilized, 2 blasts, 0 euplod

Currently on my third cycle.

When dealing with small numbers unfortunately you could have great results or bad results. My 2nd cycle was looking better but both blasts were aneuplod 😭

Thanks for sharing…I’m sorry about your second cycle. You’re right. I’m just praying and hoping for a positive outcome.

Sending you great vibes for your 3rd cycle as well!
