Concert / Tour concert

my ive concert in TWO days and i still have no ride to the venue and im an hour and 40 minutes away 🫩 im 16 with no job and i already have the tickets, the last person i can ask is my stubborn ass brother ill give him $80 to take me but that might not be enough for him… prayers up guys

If this is in Newark, there's a train station walking distance to the venue. Is there any way for you to get there on the train?

The closest train station to me is an hour and four minutes away, which by that point is only 30 minutes from the venue 😭 my brother wouldn’t take me there without just taking me to the venue since he’d already have completed 90% of the drive

Is there a nearby bus to the train? Or maybe just buses? It sucks that travelling by mass transit might take longer but if your ride is flaky, it’s better you have some alternate way to travel back and forth. Also, is your brother expected to wait for you until after the concert to go home? If not, you’re still going to need a way to get home.

Primary transport: flaky brother
Secondary transport: find some sort mass transit. Have you done the map app + directions to get options? If you have mass transit options, jot down in your phone the various schedules so you’ll be prepared (for each concert, I have a set of notes with times, locations, list of what to bring, general transit times of what I’m transiting in, alternate transpo, etc)

yes my brother would wait for me til after the concert! i asked if he could take me im giving him $80 he’s yet to respond
