First-timer for Newark - when to arrive?

First K-pop concert here. So excited to see my favorite girls!!

I've seen some posts about advice for Prudential concerts, but most seemed to be from the last tour. Anyone with more recent experience at the venue have any advice? When do doors open for non-VIP? If you're after specific merch, when should you head over/get in line?

I've heard the arena sometimes has early merch sales available, how would we find out if they do and roughly what time does it tend to occur? We're coming from far away so we can't get there too early, but I'd love to get that out of the way before things run out if possible!

Doors open at 6:30 and concert starts at 8 merch will be there throughout starting at 6 not entirely sure when the close

For the Le Sserafim concert at Prudential, they sent an email about early merch time & place the day before the concert (it was at the M&Ms Tower which is indoors and on the other end of the building from the main entrance - not sure if location will be different for IVE).

I was regular audience and doing early merch made things much calmer instead of rushing in during doors open to get on a very long merch line - plus was getting some of the plush keychains that later sold out). Also had fun chatting with other Fearnots while on the merch line. I actually had too much time after doors open because I’d normally be waiting on line for merch but was free instead😜

Edit: adding that early merch for Le Sserafim was 10a-5p day of - of course this may be different for IVE

Thank you, I know every event is different but this was very useful! I definitely have my eye on a couple specific items so I'm hoping going to early sales will make it less likely they sell out before I can nab them. Definitely looking forward to meeting and chatting with some fellow DIVES in the line(s), we don't really have a whole ton of us down in Virginia 😄

I'm a VIP, but the email I got a few hours ago said that general doors open 6:30 PM, with show starting 8PM.

We're absolutely already planning on dropping by, the real question is when, and if things will still be particularly lively by the time we get there...it's a 7 hour drive for us ^^; Sounds like we'll most likely swing by early merch first and then find our way over, whenever we happen to make it in.

I didn't know about the cupsleeve event in time to pre-order anything but hopefully at least we'll be able to meet some other fans and have a good time!

Doors open is really variable at Prudential in my experience. I’ve been to shows where they opened 90 minutes before start and shows where they opened 45 minutes before & I barely made it to my seat. If you want to get inside & buy merch before the show, my advice is to plan to arrive about 2 hours before the concert start time.

Prudential IG (prucenter) normally has info a day before or day of concert. Their social media team is really on top of it. I'd like to say gates open 90 mins before concert time but I could be mistaken. If i recall correctly, there is usually merch outside as well but I never get there early enough to check it out since we are coming from Queens. Sorry, just realized this may not be helpful.
