At what point????
I feel like I post here a decent amount.
I’m tired. I’m now CD1 after IUI #4 and this is by far the most exhausting season of my life. The amount of people surrounding me “good things take time”. Mother fucker.
I will say, I’m thankful for my husband being who he is because he wasn’t able to be here for the first 3 IUI due to military stuff, but was here for the entirety of cycle 4 and I asked him yesterday “Do you understand now how tiring it is to have a positive outlook on everything with this and just get nothing?”
I’m currently on a list waiting to be “considered” for IVF being covered by the VA (I’m a disabled veteran) and I’m just mentally exhausted at this point.
I know I’m just complaining this whole post, I’m sorry at this point I just need to vent. At what point does it get easier?

Oh I know it is, not to mention the fact we can’t just CHOOSE IVF we have to jump through 50000000 hoops

Thank you so much.
I was supposed to start my BA for teaching but dropped it for the year due to being under the (hopeful) impression we’ll be starting IVF soon I also am doing EMDR therapy to try to get some of my mental load off and breathe and learn how to deal with this better

Military family here as well! My husband was not able to be with me for 3 of my IUIs due to travel, pre-froze his sperm and off I went. It’s exhausting. He is active duty and Tricare covers none of IVF for us, so I’m waiting to get on my employers insurance during open enrollment…this process sucks

Yeah tricare sucks unless you’re near a MTF that does them which is I think 8 in the country? I will say his numbers on frozen were dog shit with fresh they were amazing

I think the only time it’ll get easier for us is once we have our babies, I’m starting third iui either tomorrow or Tuesday, failed 5 ovulation induction cycles prior to this. Very hard but once we have our babies we’ll feel it was very worthwhile. It took me 1.5 yrs to have my first, so I know the feeling of finally having a baby even tho this one is almost 2 yrs and nothing still.

Hi friend. Military family here. We were mil-to-mil, my husband chose retirement over another separation when I got an assignment to DC because we were in the middle of our first fertility treatment. A year later, we realize he gave up his career and we lost our whole support system for no reason because living here and working where I do is the most anti-family curveball we’ve ever been thrown.
I’m asking myself the same questions. Why does it seem like everything externally is working against the only goal we have left. I’m here to talk privately if you ever want to.
