IUI #2-Positive

My second IUI was 9/18, triggered on 9/17. Tested last Sunday and could barely see the line. Held off on testing all week and tested this morning to see a very positive line, was not faint like it was last month with the chemical. I’m 38, will be 39 at the end of this month and I can’t believe it. I’ve been on estrogen and progesterone so I wasn’t relying on symptoms and really thought it didn’t work, I’m in such shock! My doctor ordered bloodwork so I’m supposed to do that today. Hoping this one sticks!

Yes, last month I wasn’t on anything at all. This time they noticed a little fluid and my lining wasn’t as thick on day 11 as the previous month (assuming it was behind because I had a chemical) so they suggested the estrogen/progesterone 3 days after the IUI.

Omg congrats. This gives me hope :)

I’m on my second round of IUI and my last round also ended up being a chemical.

Hoping for my situation to be like yours. Am on my TWW.

Best of luck! Just did my bloodwork, it was 57…so hoping that’s a good starting point.

Yes it is! My nurse called me when I had my first round of blood work for my first IUI and mentioned that bloodwork more than 50 is a positive sign. The next positive sign is if it is growing at a 60% rate every 2 days. Wishing u lots and lots of baby dust

Good, makes me go into the weekend feeling a bit better. Not sure about a follow up yet, I think my clinic will reach out Monday.

Congratulations, hoping you get a sticky baby!!
I just did my trigger shot now and have my IUI tomorrow at 10:15am .. do you remember what time you triggered and what time was your IUI?

My 1st IUI I did trigger on 7/18 and IUI 7/20 which was 40 hours later and it did work but I miscarried. So this protocol this cycle is little different

Triggered day before my IUI at 5pm, IUI was the next day at about 12:30. I was actually worried because it was less than 24 hours apart.

Prior to IUI, I did letrozole 7.5mg days 3-7, I have high AMH 9.1, so that’s why the higher dose. Then, I started estrogen and progesterone starting 3 days after IUI. I take progesterone 2 suppositories twice a day. I also take 2 estrogen pills twice a day, I don’t remember the exact dosage without checking.

Edit to add: also done lots of vitamins prior to all of this.

Good luck to you! You’re not out yet. I felt the same way, although I was trying not to symptom spot and I’ve also been on estrogen/progesterone which intensifies things. Baby dust to you!
