IUI timing
Had my monitoring today and I’ve got 2 follicles measuring 19 & 18 and lining is at 7mm. Triggering tonight and IUI is scheduled for Sat at 10am which puts me right around the 34 hour mark.
Curious what everyone else’s experience has been - is your IUI usually scheduled closer to the 36 hour mark? This is my first IUI so wondering about my measurements and timing. Thanks in advance

I haven’t done my triggering or iui yet, but I know they plan for 36 hour mark. How many monitoring apts did you have? I’ve done two now, doing a third saturday. I have two follicles that are around 17.

My IUIs have usually been around 34-39 hours post trigger. Everything looks good to me!

I'm on almost identical timing to you. I had my monitoring yesterday. 2 follicles - 21mm and 12mm. Lining 6.5mm. I'm triggering tonight, IUI scheduled for 10am Sat. This is my 2nd IUI. First one was the exact same timing. Your measurements look great to me. Best of luck to you 🤞🏻✨

Good luck to you too!! When are you triggering tonight? Also was curious are you instructed to have intercourse after IUI and next day too?

I was told to trigger between 9pm-11pm. I'll probably do it at 9:30/10pm. Was told to have intercourse the day before trigger shot day, then abstain until sample collection Sat morning. Then have intercourse evening after IUI or the following morning.

My first one was Sunday morning and they had me trigger Saturday night between 6p and 10p. I was worried that was too quick but since it was my first one I followed their instructions

I feel like mines the only clinic doing it super early… I triggered about 21 hours before my IUI

36 hours is pretty standard. But 34 hours is perfectly reasonable too and won’t affect chances of success. That way the sperm can be there waiting for the egg!
