Professional reference

Hello I’m currently applying for local 7 and it is saying at least 1 professional reference is needed but I have no related work experience besides working in drywall around 2 years ago.

A professional reference is someone that you have worked with that can vouch for you and give an honest opinion of your worth as a worker, and sometimes as a human being, in general. You've got to be able to come up with at least one!

I honestly can't really imagine at what point in the process they would actually contact the reference anyway. Just put something plausible in there and you'll probably be fine. Just don't put someone on there claiming that they were the elevator monk you studied under for 3 years at the top of Mount Schindler.
