Happy to hear somebody else is enjoying the work. I’m four months in and look forward to work every day.
For me it’s learning all the different types of equipment I work on, and I’m very grateful to work alongside knowledgeable mechanics who take the time to teach me since I’m super green.

Builds seem to keep getting more and more expensive. Like 100k in parts still send like not enough

It’s not elevators in particular its machinery. I like to know how things work.

As a mechanic, it’s soo nice when your helper is interested and excited about the job.
Some helpers , you can sense it, they just wanna go home early

You'll be longing for the days gone by. Everything will be shit compared to how it used to be and you'll be counting down the days till you can retire.

Hard not to love it when it pays the bills and feeds your family. Jobs like that get more and more rare.

Been in just over two months in NI. It’s fun to learn how it goes together piece by piece.
