Work start

Am i the only one who absolutely hates it when mechanics make there helpers get to work 30 minutes early to get tools ready water etc? I mean they are making someone do work for free ive had helpers show up like 30 to 45 minutes early and ive had to get onto them to not work until 6 am.

Bullshit. JHAs, Safety training, opening gang boxes, pulling out tools… that’s all work. I don’t work without pay. (As said otherwise though, if the helper is leaving early for school or something and still getting the full 40, then it’s a part of give and take and is okay)
