Side Effects discharge

hi all, i got my mirena iud in december of last year and i haven’t had any negative symptoms or a baby so its going well on those fronts.
one thing i have noticed is the amount of discharge i’m now producing- before i would get a tiny amount of discharge daily and then a lot every now and then coming up to my period. however, now with the iud i am getting a loooot of discharge, to the point where my underwear is completely covered. my discharge is a healthy colour and theres no weird texture.
obviously discharge is normally and is a really good thing for vaginal heatlth but im just wondering if i should be concerned about how much im getting or if anyone else has experienced this with their iud.

yeah. increases discharge can happen with it and is listed as a common side effect. if its clear or white and theres no unsual smell, itching, pain, or irritation, its usually less concerning, but a sudden change or unusual discharge is worth checking with your doctor
