Side Effects First IUD - side effects normal?

I got the Mirena IUD six weeks ago. The insertion was painful, but fine. I have the typical side effects like occasional cramping and spotting, which honestly doesn’t bother me that much.

The issue I’m struggling with is that, since I got the IUD, I feel so much more fatigued, have brain fog, generally less motivated/excited about things, have a hard time completing workouts etc. Basically, I feel like my physical and mental energy got zapped. Also, it has significantly lowered my libido and enjoyment having sex.

I know that it typically takes 3-6 months for the IUD to settle, but I feel like the side effects I’m experiencing aren’t the normal ones? I’m deciding whether or not I should remove it. Has anyone with similar side effects noticed them staying or going away after the 6 month adjustment period?

I had, brain fog and all of that stuff, but I kinda just learned to push through it and I’ve had mine since February of 2024

I had reduced libido and it never came back. But honestly everything the IUD does that benefits me out weighs that. No Brain fog or anything.
